Venom, the first foundation to receive the blockchain license from Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), announced that their testnet is all set to go live next week. The testnet designed to provide both ecosystem users and developers the chance to fully utilize its blockchain.
According to the announcement, developers will be able to test and debug dapps and blockchain protocols on the testnet. The objective is to provide users with an immersive experience with these applications. Additionally, the testnet will encourage innovation and community development within its ecosystem, which is vital to growth and sustainability.
To interact with the Venom testnet, the users need to install the Venom wallet as a Google extension or through either the app or Google Play store. And then, users can claim their testnet VENOM tokens to jumpstart their testing in the Venom ecosystem.
Diversity of Dapps Featured in Venom Testnet
A diverse array of dapps will featured in the Venom testnet. Some of these have been native to the Venom ecosystem, like Venom scan. And others will developed by external projects and partners. The team has designed a series of social and on-chain tasks to make sure that users can engage with the Venom blockchain in additional ways. This will provide users with the experience of “what the Venom dapps have to offer.”
For developers, the testnet will provide the chance to build on the Venom blockchain, which has the reputation of offering ultra-fast speed at 100k fps. And its dynamic sharding feature will enhance the scalability and reliability of the network.
