NFT
Not everyone knows this, but Crypto.com also has an NFT marketplace.
It actually has a real in-house platform dedicated to NFTs that allows the creation, distribution, sale, purchase and custody of NFTs.
For example, to create an NFT on Crypto.com’s platform it is necessary to apply for approval, and once obtained it is possible to start minting collectibles to be published and sold on the same platform by selecting the “Create” button.
The supported blockchains are Ethereum, Polygon, Cronos and Crypto.org Chain, and the supported formats are JPEG, JPG, PNG, GIF, WEBP. The MP4 format will also be added soon.
The fee on the minting of new NFTs is $3, and for NFTs minted on Ethereum, Polygon, and Cronos an additional fee may be charged to cover gas costs.
A fixed fee of 1.99% is then eventually charged on the first sale of the minted NFT.
A digital gallery is also made available for users to showcase their NFT collections.
It is worth noting that those who are already registered on the Crypto.com App can easily access the NFT platform by simply scanning a QR Code. In this way, not only can the platform be used from the App as well, but funds held on the exchange can be used to purchase NFTs.
The platform also has its own dedicated Twitter profile.
NFT collections on Crypto.com
As many as four new collections are scheduled to be launched on Crypto.com’s NFT platform in the coming days.
One of them, The Art of Giving II, is launched by the exchange itself, while the others are by Haz Haus x sean woong, Rank SSS, and 2J_sTARY.
Featured collections at this time include Loaded Lions, Mutant Ape Yatch Club, and Art Blocks, among others, but there are dozens.
There is also an entire section of the website devoted to statistics inherent in the best performing collections on the marketplace.
The best-selling NFT collections on Crypto.com
Taking the last 30 days as a reference, the absolute best-selling collection is Otherdeed for Otherside.
This is a collection with almost 26,500 NFTs, which to date though, is owned by only 8 accounts.
So far this collection has generated a trading volume of over $780 million, including $82 million in the last month alone.
It is worth noting that it has generated nearly double the volume of the second-ranked collection in this latest period, namely Bored Ape Yacht Club with just over $47 million in volume traded in the last 30 days.
Otherdeed is the key to claiming land in Otherside, and each NFT is associated with a unique land.
Bored Ape Yacht Club, on the other hand, has 2,800 of Bored Ape’s 10,000 NFTs, and is trailed in the rankings by the Doodles collection with $46.5 million in trades over the past 30 days.
Doodles is a community-driven collection with about 3,200 NFTs, and the project is in partnership with Burnt Toast.
It is worth noting that on Crypto.com’s NFT marketplace there are as many as eight collections with trading volumes over $20 million in the past 30 days, plus two others with volumes over $10 million.
Of these, the majority have declining prices, and the one that appears to have the fastest-growing base prices is Otherdeed for Otherside itself, with +11.5% over the past thirty days.
Bored Ape Yacht Club is also performing well, with +9.5%, while Doodles is not doing well with a 27.5% decline.
In fact, the collection with the strongest base price performance over the past thirty days is TMK ICONS, with +900%, but against a volume of only $9,000.
TMK ICONS has only 32 NFTs and 9 wallets, but is apparently growing strongly.
Crypto Unicorns Land Market (+400% in price and $65,000 in volume) and Visceral 2.0 are also performing very well from this point of view, but against a +400% in price it has a trading volume of only $84.
However, there are also five collections whose base price has lost more than 90% in the last thirty days, and among them one that has lost 99.99% (Letters of the Future).
The selection of authors
The feature of this platform is the selection of authors whose NFTs can be created and sold.
In fact, the platform is presented with the slogan “Buy, sell, and show NFTs of famous authors and brands,” precisely because the buying and holding is open to all Crypto.com users, but not the creation and listing.
In fact, brands featured on Crypto.com’s NFT marketplace include Coca Cola, the Italian Serie A League, Paris Saint-Germain, Aston Martin F1, the Philadelphia 76ers, and even Visa.
For example, among the top authors with more than $2 million in total volume is Aston Martin F1 itself, and among those with at least $1 million is Snoop Dogg.
