GAMEE, a subsidiary of Animoca Brands, has announced that it is bringing Arc8 GameFest to the community of players. Defined as its largest gaming event, Arc8 GameFest will begin on November 16, 2023, and end on November 30, 2023. The mobile game event will eventually give away a portion of $120,000 to the winners. The reward will come in the form of tokens and NFTs, not precisely as real money.
Players who are interested in participating have until November 13, 2023, to mint their GameFest Pass on OpenSea.
Sponsors and partners supporting Arc8 GameFest include Crypto Unicorns, Hooked Protocol, REVV Motorsport, and Mocaverse, among others. GAMEE rolling out Arc8 GameFest is in line with the commitment to making it convenient for players to onboard Web3. The fact that they will be rewarded for their participation adds to the overall interest.
Minting the GameFest Pass is mandatory, enabling players to participate, play, and compete for prizes. A single Arc8 GameFest Pass has been priced at 0.008 ETH, or ~$15. Payments can be made with fiat currencies or ETH. Fiat currency can also be used to purchase in-game consumables and boosts. Alternatively, the said in-game items will be available for purchase via GMEE, the native token of Arc8.
Arc8 is supporting Beasties NFTs that allow players with multiple GameFest Pass a higher chance of winning prizes.
Additionally, the Elite Arcade Gaming Zone debuted. The segment has been allocated $20,000 in rewards from the total prize pool by GAMEE. Only individuals who possess a valid Arc8 GameFest Pass are granted access to the Elite Arcade Gaming Zone.
Gaming partners for the event are Wanderers, Highstreet, ForestKnight, BoomLand, KDArena, and Unstoppable Domains, to mention a few.
Meanwhile, another subsidiary of Animoca Brands, Forj Official, is making rounds for opening the application to $APE Accelerator. Forj is empowering successful applicants to launch their Web3 business idea to the community of ApeCoin, which has nearly 200,000 members. Harry Liu, the Chief Executive Officer of $APE Accelerator, called it a new beginning towards innovation, adding that they are now welcoming the founders of Web3 to take their ecosystem to new heights.

In a slightly different manner, this sentiment is also reflected in the Arc8 GameFest. GAMEE is an initiative by Animoca Brands to empower participants to determine how they wish to interact with the content. In addition to awarding winners with NFTs and tokens as prizes, this will motivate them to adhere to their innate gameplay impulses.
