Sky Mavis, the creator of the Axie Infinity NFT project, is launching the Axie Infinity: Origins card game on the Apple App Store in key markets where the game is most popular. The game was previously available in a limited number of regions on the Google Play Store and through the company’s Mavis Hub.
The game will first launch on the Apple Store in Latin America and Asia in countries such as Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Venezuela, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam. The game has 1.5 million installs across all platforms and plans to continue its global expansion through Google and Apple mobile users.
Sky Mavis is also launching Mavis Market, a dedicated NFT marketplace powered by the company’s native Ronin blockchain. Starting Wednesday, some collectibles from third-party game or dApp developers that are deployed on Ronin will be available on the marketplace. The company also plans to launch a merchandise store.
