Bitcoin-based NodeMonkes is Monday’s top-selling non-fungible token (NFT) collection over the 24 hours to noon ET, despite a 46.88% drop in sales to US$2.01 million, according to CryptoSlam.
NodeMonkes cooled down after a hot weekend that included a US$3.78 million Sunday, its best single-day performance since mid-March.
Two Solana collections, Froganas and Tensorians took the second and third spots respectively, both recording almost US$1.5 million in sales.
Froganas topped the charts last Friday while Tensorians led the market last Wednesday.
Ethereum-based CryptoPunks had a 152% increase in sales, reaching US$1.23 million.
CryptoPunk 2306, changed hands for 320 ETH, roughly US$1.095 million, for the 73rd largest CryptoPunk transaction in history. The previous owner held the asset for two years before Monday’s sale.
Other notable movements in the top 10 include the Mythos platform’s DMarket at six, which saw a 3.57% decrease in sales, totaling US$964,921, and an 8.46% dip in transactions.
Ethereum’s Pudgy Penguins at seventh, enjoyed a significant surge, with sales skyrocketing by 1,717.60% to US$731,910 and transactions increasing by 1,500%.
Avalanche’s Dokyo and Ethereum’s Bored Ape Yacht Club both faced declines in sales and transactions, with Dokyo’s sales falling by 19.29% and Bored Ape Yacht Club’s by 18.06%.
Bored Ape Yacht Club is holding firmly to its second-place position in all-time sales with US$3.12 billion, but its sales have recently been slowing down.
Monday marks the fourth instance in April that the collection failed to reach US$1 million in daily sales.
